Keio University Graduate School of Media and Governance

photoThe Master's program of the Graduate School of Media and Governance runs Double Degree Programs with Yonsei University in Korea and Fudan University in China. Students can obtain two Master's degrees-one from Keio University and the other from Yonsei University or Fudan University-within a minimum of two years after enrolling in this program. In principle, Double Degree Program students do not have to pay tuition fee to their partner university as part of the agreement between universities. During the two years of enrollment, Double Degree Program students basically stay in their home university to fulfill the requirements of their partner universities by participating in classes through distance learning, except for the one semester which they actually stay abroad to study at the affliated schools.

Yonsei GSISThe Graduate School of International Studies at Yonsei University was established in 1987 as a pioneer of professional studies programs in Korea. The founding motivation of Yonsei GSIS was to meet the growing global demand for internatonal academic institutions and to train individuals to become global experts. The Yonsei GSIS is Koreas leading professional graduate school of international studies. The dynamic and rigorous curriculum equips students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to excel globally, in the private and public sectors. The Yonsei GSIS earned the distinction of being a university to produce international leaders by the Ministry of Education, and was awarded the status of an official professional school in November, 1999 in recognition of its global competitiveness and establishment of renowned doctoral programs.

Fudan University - School of International Relations and Public Affairs

FudanThe School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA), Fuda University was founded on November 21st, 2000. It was created to update the Department of International Politics for the 21st Century.

SIRPA has three departments: the Department of International Politics, the Department of Political Science, and the Department of Public Administration. Affiliate to SIRPA is Institute of International Studies (IIS), which now coordinates the research centers' activities. As an important step in improving the university, this effort will consolidate international studies at Fudan, so that academic research, student education, and faculty development in the field of international relations and public affairs can be greatly enhanced.

Fudan University - English-instructed Master Program in Chinese Politics and Diplomacy

Fudan CPD The English-instructed Master program of Chinese Politics and Diplomacy serves the increasing international interests in the rapid changes and development of China regarding its governance and diplomacy. It provides an excellent opportunity of studying the political, diplomatic, and administrative reality of China for foreign students without sufficient preparation in Chinese. To overcome the language barrier, all courses are taught in English. Our mission is to enhance both the students' analytical skills and their knowledge of China, with a purpose to establish a solid foundation for their future academic or professional careers. The Program is certificated by Ministry of Education of People Republic of China and its diploma is recognized by foreign countries that have signed intergovernmental agreements with China.

The program consists of a two-year full-time course study. The first year of the program is designed to provide a solid knowledge grounding in Chinese politics, diplomacy, and public administration through core coursework. The third semester of the program allows the student to study some advanced research topics on China. MA students are required to complete and defend an MA thesis.
